Another console problem solution..
A Ps2 slim disc is not spinning problem..
first check the motor control flex...(the white colored) youll need a multi tester..check the lines for continuity..
just removed the motor with the board and flex..the marked red lines have faults this is cause of disc not spin..
in this case i used a ribbon from a new mobile phone flex that matched the flex line size.. then soldered in place..
carefully installed it back to the rack..
tested it and it worked ok..

Solution: Xbox 360 RBOD (Reb Blink of death)
My customer had this problem recently. his Xbox LED displays are blinking with red color...and doesn't boot at all..
heres the picture..

___________________________________________________________________________
Check the cables first for dirt, or foreign objects...lastly test the continuity for faulty cable tracing...

____________________________________________________________________________
Chek the A/V port for foreign objects or if the contacts are corroded...(in this case it is the main cause of the RBOD!) some of the port contacts are corroded with copper stains...(of course coz its copper)
you can clean the contacts without dismantling the console...(it is up to you if you wanted to)
cleane it with a cloth with a metal polish..(make sure the contacts are clean and dry)

____________________________________________________________________________
then replug the console and it should look like this... little green lights circling the lines :)
it indicates xbox is ok and booting! :)

problem is solved! :)
